Good day,

how does it actually work with the plan? Can I draw it myself, or does it always have to be done by an architect? It can’t be that difficult, since when I look at some houses, I think I could do it too.

Hi,

I don’t mean to offend, but this should really be done by an architect or at least a draftsman. There are more factors to consider than just the issue of where the walls go.

Fortunately, submitting a building permit/planning permission application requires a qualified professional, as simply sketching a few lines on a piece of paper is not sufficient.

Hello,

just because you need a professional to do the drawings doesn’t mean you can’t contribute your own ideas.
Write down what is important to you and what you would like to have.

Because it can't be that difficult—when I look at some houses, I think I could do it too.

My brother-in-law did it himself with the help of a draftsman. His house has now been standing for over 25 years. It probably wasn't that bad what he did.

That would be too much trouble for me, and I don’t think it really saves any money. A good architect can do that in no time and includes everything that needs to be in a house.

You can see what happens when amateurs take over by looking at the town hall of Schilda!!!!
