Hello everyone,
I have what might seem like a basic question. We’ve received the first quote from the electrician and are somewhat surprised by the additional costs being charged.
Initially, we planned to have a duplex LAN outlet in almost every room. My assumption was that it wouldn’t be significantly more expensive than a simplex outlet. But that turned out to be incorrect... So now we’re trying to reduce the costs a bit.
My question is: Does it make a difference in performance if I use a duplex LAN outlet simultaneously, or a simplex outlet connected to a small gigabit switch, for example from TP Link?
We plan to install CAT 7 cabling and currently expect an internet connection speed of around 150 Mbit/s.
It obviously doesn’t look as neat, but it will always be hidden behind the desk or TV anyway.
Thanks for your help.

I just saw that he charges 500 € for 2 cables going outside?
Is this handled through the developer or builder?
The electrician makes up for what he doesn’t earn from the developer with you.
We pay 90 € per double socket.

However, I’m really surprised that a double outlet installation costs as much as 90 euros. Something must be off with those prices.
