Hello,

I can’t decide which color the kitchen sofa should be. So, I’m just asking the group: which color would appeal to you for a kitchen sofa?

The kitchen has a lot of wood: oak flooring, a light oak table, and an oak countertop on a matte black kitchen. The kitchen takes up a lot of space. The entire room will get a lot of light (east-facing window 4.5m (15 feet) wide in a room 5.5m (18 feet) wide).
The rest of the kitchen has no color. Walls are white, I have no accessories, and no colored towels either. The kitchen backsplash will be tiled in black.

I was about to order “yellow,” but hesitated at the last moment. Now I’m curious to hear what you think.

I just measured my (regular) sofa. It’s a Gelderland classic (model 4800). This is what it looks like; the backrest and armrests are at the same height, and it’s the best sofa I’ve ever sat on. I’m really in love with my sofa. 😀
Grey three-seater sofa with short metal legs, minimalist piece of furniture

Seat depth: 53cm (21 inches)
Armrest/backrest: front, where the hands rest, 30cm (12 inches), back at the backrest 34cm (13 inches), due to the seat surface sloping downwards towards the back.

I understand that a kitchen sofa isn’t the same as a regular sofa. Actually, your sofa has more sofa-like dimensions than the Burdett.

The Lagor doesn’t look bad at all. I hadn’t even noticed it while searching. And I don’t have to choose a color. 😀

I believe that when sitting cross-legged on the Burdett, you won’t be as comfortable due to the shorter armrests. Also, I think you will notice the 5 to 6 cm (2 to 2.5 inches) greater seat depth as a positive difference.

Or the inosign in retro style, 3-seater from O**o? I also find the color selection very nice, not so muted tones.

Addendum: I just noticed that you want the backrest and armrest at the same height, so this won’t work after all.

Hello,
A kitchen sofa is definitely really cool, but unfortunately it requires a lot of space.
In our case, we want a dining corner with two dining benches and a table, right by the window.
That fits better in terms of space, and I think it’s incredibly comfortable to sit there.
We’re still having some trouble deciding on the color scheme though.
Best regards, Olli
