I am thinking, for example, of combining them with metal or glass accents, as well as alternative wooden furniture that is not from IKEA. The goal is to enhance the classic HEMNES look with a mix of different materials to create a unique and high-quality overall impression.

Are there any known guides or practical tips for such combinations? How do you handle mounting and fixing points when the materials are very different? And what should be paid special attention to in order to ensure stability and appearance?
