ᐅ Is it possible to relocate a wall cabinet on a drywall partition?

bouhwenHello,
unfortunately, the movers were a bit hasty and installed my kitchen cabinets in a way I didn’t want. By the time I arrived at the new apartment, it was already too late. The wall is probably drywall. I’m not sure how many layers. There is likely no insulation inside. In any case, it sounds quite thin when you knock on it. When I asked if the cabinets could be repositioned, the installer said it probably wouldn’t hold anymore if you fill the cabinets with dishes because the wall has already been drilled into too many times and might eventually break out. The problem is, I can’t fully open the other cabinet because the extractor hood is in the way. The installer thought I wanted the kitchen built around a corner, but I wanted it to be along one wall, like in my previous apartment. I need the cabinet on the other side because I want to install my under-cabinet light there.
Can I still move the cabinet, or will the drywall eventually tear out if the cabinets get too heavy? Which anchors do I need for that? I have another cabinet that doesn’t have a metal mounting rail but is only hung with hooks like that. Which anchors should I use for that? I have Fischer 572915 DuoHM hollow wall anchors. Can I screw in hooks with wood threads into those, or how do I properly fix the cabinet? Now I notice that the screw heads are much wider on the wall than the ones on my Fischer anchors. Should I have used Fischer 572916 in the end? I have no idea how to proceed. I’m not making any progress. My apartment is full of boxes with dishes and kitchen items, just because the installer attached my wall cabinets somehow, and I don’t know if I can move the cabinet, whether it will still hold afterwards, and which anchors I should use.

According to the manufacturer, the maximum load for a drywall anchor on a gypsum plasterboard is 20 kg (44 lbs). If you have two anchors per cabinet, that would be 40 kg (88 lbs) total. That’s not very much if you want to store dishes or similar items.
Another question is how far the new holes would be from the old ones. If they are close to each other, I wouldn’t recommend doing it.
I modified my cabinets (from Ikea) so that they can be hung on a rail. This rail is then, in addition to the anchors in double gypsum fiberboard, also screwed into the wall studs. If something like that is possible, you would have more options for the mounting.

The cabinet should be moved about 70cm (28 inches) to the left into the corner and raised about 10cm (4 inches) higher, just before the outlet. A few, around 3-4, of the drill holes would then be about 10cm (4 inches) from the old holes. The cabinet is 1 meter (39 inches) wide. The trim strip is attached to the wall with 8 screws. If I drill 8 holes again, will that hold?
Should I return the Fischer anchors and exchange them for M6 from Fischer (572916)? But with a 12mm (0.47 inch) hole using a 12mm (0.47 inch) drill bit ... I’m not quite sure.
Can I use these anchors if I use 7 or 8 of them? I’m afraid the wall might give way, and the wall cabinet could fall, my dishes might break, or something underneath might get damaged.
Or if I move the individual wall cabinet from right to left into the corner? But then I would have to convert the door to open from the left, so the handle would be on top, and I’d always have to stretch to reach it. Also, I keep my coffee and sugar in there, and it’s easier for me to handle it if the coffee machine is right next to the cabinet on the right, so I don’t have to reach all the way from left to right to make my coffee. The stickers inside the cabinet would also end up upside down, which doesn’t seem right. Plus, it wouldn’t fit exactly into the corner but would have about an 8cm (3 inch) gap to the wall. What should I do with that empty space, which barely fits a fist?
