Hello,

we have a cork wall in the kitchen, which makes the room very dark because of its color. Is it possible to simply paint over cork? Do you need special types of paint for this?

Thank you for your help

Are you so attached to your cork wall that you want to paint over it? What do you think about the alternative of removing it?

Yes, my recommendation would also be to remove the cork wall and then paint over it! It also looks much better that way!

Is the cork wall used as a pinboard? If so, painting over it with acrylic paints looks nice. Otherwise, I would definitely remove it!

Yes, I did the same with my pinboard! - Hibiscus flowers! But in the kitchen, I would tear down a wall like that.

Hello Mirakulix! Of course, you can paint over a cork wall! You can use regular wall paint, or if you want patterns, acrylic paints also work well.
