Hello, we decided to install laminate flooring in the attic. Most of the walls are double-layer drywall. My drywall installer said I should lay the laminate first, and then he will adjust the door frames and doors accordingly.
Usually, you leave expansion gaps along the walls using spacers.
What about the spots where the door frame will be installed? Should I also leave a gap between the laminate and the wall (or where the door frame will go), or should the laminate be laid flush there?
