Hello!
I have noticed the following:
For the new Besta carcasses (64x60x20 and 120x64x40), there are no longer any plugs included to cover the threaded holes on the bottom in case the carcass is wall-mounted. This looks really unattractive.
These plugs are mentioned in the online assembly instructions, but not in the printed instructions included with the carcass!
I have mounted a total of three carcasses (64x60x20) on the wall: two in black-brown with glass doors, and one in gray-stained walnut finish with a solid door. Naturally, you can see the threads on the underside where the feet are screwed in (which I don’t need).
Since the assembly instructions differ (online versus included), I contacted IKEA customer service. This definitely shouldn’t be the case.
So if anyone is planning to use BESTA as a wall cabinet, they can contact customer service directly to order the plugs in the matching color and quantity.

IKEA-Freund15 Nov 2015 17:57Hello,
whether you can even see them, of course, depends on the height at which these things are hung ... the plugs have the order numbers 133189 to 133193 (probably for the different colors). With the numbers, you can conveniently order the replacement parts online using the corresponding form ...
Maybe you know which number “your” plugs have – then we would already have two colors identified.
Best regards,
IKEA-Freund

I have now received the plugs from IKEA. Unfortunately, there was no note included, so I cannot match the numbers to the colors.
IKEA sent me:
8 x black plugs
8 x white plugs
8 x light brown (ochre) plugs
8 x medium brown (ochre) plugs
The light brown plugs differ only slightly from the medium brown ones. I would describe both as ochre, with one being lighter and the other darker.
Unfortunately, I still need 5 x black plugs, which I ordered from IKEA but apparently were forgotten. I will follow up on this.
