I have dismantled my terrace decking boards (Cumaru/Bangkirai boards) that were installed at the beginning of 2015 (the terrace is uncovered).
Now I am wondering how to store them over the winter.
I plan to reinstall them in a different place next summer.
The boards are currently damp and wet due to the weather.
Should I store them stacked outside under a tarp?
Or should I store them stacked in the garage?
I want to avoid the boards becoming moldy while stacked and stored over the winter.
Thank you very much

if the garage is well ventilated, you can store the floorboards there, otherwise it is probably better to keep them outside. The most important thing is not to place the boards tightly together. So when stacking, always leave a gap of about 2-4cm (1-2 finger widths) on the sides and insert spacers between each layer.
