I need some advice from the enthusiastic DIYers. I have the Magiker series in my living room, but unfortunately, it is no longer available. Due to moving, I now have more space. I’m considering that the Kallax in birch with white drawers and VÄRDE handles would fit well. However, the Magiker cabinets have those kind of legs. Is it possible to attach similar legs to the Kallax? If so, where can I find ones that would match?

Hello,
at the hardware store, you can find simple furniture legs, usually in white, black, silver, or chrome finishes. They can sometimes be shortened if needed.
KALLAX only has particleboard at the edges, with cardboard between the thin outer panels elsewhere. Therefore, the legs can only be securely attached with screws at the edges. At the corners, there are at least three screws. You should avoid tightening the fourth screw too much. I wouldn’t recommend fully loading a KALLAX on legs with books.

Maybe this answer is too late, but there are casters available for Kallax. They allow you to easily move the shelving unit. With the built-in brakes, the unit can be securely fixed in place.
