Stefan01Hello,
We have decided on the Haro Disano Classic Aqua and are now considering glueing it down.
What makes me a bit uncertain is that Haro states it can be glued, but this is not emphasized much in the installation instructions.
Does anyone have experience with this flooring?

Isn't that enough?:
For installing Disano Aqua vinyl flooring in wet rooms, full-surface adhesive application and prior priming are mandatory. For priming, we recommend the... from the brand Uzin; for the adhesive, you can find the premium... under the Accessories section in our online shop. The adhesive manufacturer is also Uzin.
Suitable subfloors:
Cement screed (CT), cement flowing screed (CFT)
Calcium sulfate screed (CA), calcium sulfate flowing screed (CFA)
Mastic asphalt screed (AS)
V 100 (E1) tongue-and-groove chipboard or other wooden construction panels.
Adhesive type according to TRGS 610
Note:
Due to hazardous substances regulation TRGS 610, solvent-free adhesives must be used if the product and installation conditions allow.
Inspection and preparation of the subfloor:
The substrate must be checked according to VOB, part C, DIN 18 365 “Floor covering works” and DIN 18 356 “Parquet works.” The subfloor must be compressive and tensile-resistant, absorbent, crack-free, dry, level, and clean. Contaminated substrates must be freed from impurities such as oils, fats, wax, paint, gypsum, dust, and other substances that may impair adhesion.
For newly applied cement and calcium sulfate screeds, no additional subfloor preparation is usually required.
Calcium sulfate flowing screeds must be sanded or brushed and then vacuumed before bonding.
For critical substrates such as old mastic asphalt screeds, highly absorbent or slightly absorbent cement screeds, old ceramic coverings, etc., subfloor preparation is necessary to achieve an appropriate base. Suitable filler, leveling, or smoothing compounds must be applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Mastic asphalt screeds must be patched or sealed with reactive resin primers beforehand.
1. Moisture check
The subfloor must be professionally tested for readiness for installation using appropriate measuring devices (CM meter).
Please observe the preparatory measures for "Installation over underfloor heating" in the installation instructions included with the packages or on our website. Essentially, before installation begins, the signed "Protocol for screed heating readiness" must be provided by the client.
2. Levelness check (DIN 18202)
If necessary, the subfloor must be patched with suitable filler, leveling, or smoothing compounds according to the manufacturer's instructions. Special primers are required for this subfloor leveling. Edge insulation strips on the screed may only be removed after priming and patching work.
3. Surface strength
This is checked with the cross-cut and hammer test methods.
4. Construction joints in the screed (control joints or predetermined breaking points)
These must be professionally and strongly bonded before installation. Building expansion joints must not be closed under any circumstances.
Bonding:
Bonding is not possible at floor temperatures below 17°C (63°F). The room may need to be heated and well ventilated to ensure that the relative humidity does not exceed 70%, for example, in new buildings.
Storage of adhesive:
Store cool and dry; unopened 9 months; cover adhesive in opened containers with plastic film before resealing.
Application quantity:
Depending on the subfloor's absorbency, approx. 800 - 1000 g/m² (1.75 - 2.2 lbs/sq yd) Uzin MK 250
Hamberger special trowel L
Please also follow the instructions on the adhesive containers.
General notes on full-surface adhesion:
In new buildings, due to residual moisture and elevated humidity, the high-quality processed material should not be stored on site.
Packages should only be opened immediately before installation begins. Remaining boards should be rewrapped in plastic foil during longer installation breaks.
The adhesive is applied with the Hamberger special trowel L (initially only for one row of elements).
Ideal room temperature is between +18°C and 23°C (64°F and 73°F), never below +10°C (50°F), with relative humidity not exceeding 65%.
The first row is aligned straight with the tongue side to the wall and fixed firmly with wedges. For long distances, alignment accuracy should be checked with a string line. Press the elements firmly into the adhesive bed to ensure good adhesive coverage.
The cut piece from the first row can be reused in the second row, ensuring an end joint stagger of at least 50 cm (20 inches).
Special transition strips can be embedded in the adhesive bed at transitions to other floor coverings or door thresholds as well as around ceramic surrounds of tile stoves or open fireplaces. An expansion gap of at least 5 mm (0.2 inches) must be maintained within the transition strip.
The installed Disano floor surface can be loaded approximately 48 hours after installation.
Indoor climate:
Maintaining the value of Hamberger’s floors and human comfort requires a healthy indoor climate with about 30 - 60% relative humidity at a room temperature of 20°C (68°F). If humidity falls significantly or for extended periods during the heating period, we recommend using an electric humidifier (evaporator) to avoid excessive drying of the floor. These should be operated from the start of the heating period if necessary.
Recommendation:
For renovations, refurbishments, or problematic subfloors, such as old PVC or firmly glued needle felt coverings, a floating installation is advisable. For uncertainties, please contact our technical application department.

Where does this text come from? That was the first text I came across during a Google search for hardwood suppliers. Personally, I would never lay plastic on the floor. For me, only real wood is an option.
I have exactly the same flooring on the ground floor and the upper floor, glued down in the bathrooms and installed as a floating floor everywhere else. When walking on it, you can definitely feel that the glued areas are more stable, but I wouldn’t want to glue the entire house. Especially when replacing the floor, removing adhesive residue is probably very difficult. Overall, I am very satisfied with the flooring and it looks great.
