Yesterday, the cement screed was poured over the liquid insulation in our new single-family house. Today, I noticed that the screed installer left two opposing windows in the living room slightly open in the tilt position.
The general contractor’s site manager advised me to try to close the windows from the outside. Since I could only close the windows in a slightly ajar position, I sealed both windows with plastic sheeting to prevent air from entering the interior.
Are screed damages caused by improper drying always noticeable during the drying process itself, or can they sometimes only become apparent months or years later through indirect consequential damage?

Unnecessary panic, nothing will be missing... very little air exchange occurs with a tilted window.
I’ll briefly explain what could happen: the screed seals on top but remains damp underneath, so it wouldn’t dry properly. Cracks could also occur. So if everything looks fine visually and your measurement points are dry after a few weeks, everything is fine.
