ᐅ Floor Plan for a Narrow House – Basement Constructed as a Watertight Concrete Shell

Hello everyone,
I have a plot where I am allowed to build a house with a maximum size of 6.5m by 11m (21 feet 4 inches by 36 feet 1 inch). One single-story building is permitted (gable roof, roof heights currently not limited). So, it won’t be a huge house, but of course, it should have everything you need.
Since we need to excavate 1.5m (5 feet) anyway, I’m considering building a basement as a waterproof concrete shell (“white tank”). This way, the boiler room as well as storage space can be located underground.
Because the house (especially the ground floor) should be planned to be accessible for people with disabilities and the elderly, I’m thinking of including a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom all on the ground floor.
Unfortunately, there are not many ideas online about whether all this is even possible without making everything too cramped.
Have you seen any interesting designs on the internet or maybe even have similar floor plans yourselves?
I would really appreciate any suggestions from you.
Thank you very much and best regards,
Tobi

My parents, who are over 70 years old, will be moving in. Since you never know what might happen, I thought it would be wise to plan in an age-appropriate way. There isn’t much living space on the ground floor anyway. Making it suitable for seniors isn’t easy.

This is a plot with an existing house where I live with my family. Now an extension is planned, see the attached image. Wow, these two depictions are putting it very mildly when calling them "completely different."
So you don’t actually have a plot of land, but rather a leftover building plot between an existing house and the building boundary line,
and you don’t want to build a house, but an extension.
You probably call it a "house" because it may have its own separate entrance, an independent roof, and possibly its own utility room; and that it now partially closes what used to be open sides of the existing house seems to be insufficiently clear to you.
This changes the whole picture significantly compared to your initial presentation!

I have a house with exterior dimensions of 10.5 x 7 m (34.4 x 23 ft). This results in an enclosed area of 60 m² (646 sq ft). It’s probably possible to design a cozy two-room apartment in that space... but it would be quite tight. For now, I have only fitted in a living room, kitchen, toilet, staircase to the upper floor, and the utility room (HAR, 7 m² / 75 sq ft). I don’t see how a proper bathroom and an accessible bedroom suitable for seniors could fit in as well.
