Something still doesn’t add up: the plot is 16 m (52.5 ft) wide, the house is 12 m (39.4 ft), and there are terraces on both sides.

The 16 m (52.5 ft) obviously refers to the shorter side.

Is there a plan with contour lines?

@Exziton ... you want your questions answered here, so it would be sensible to provide the requested data and plans. With floor plans that are only partly dimensioned and without an overview of the surroundings, access routes, etc., you are unlikely to receive helpful advice here.

With a 12.5% slope, you might consider including a basement. Or a lower ground floor and ground floor?
160 m² (1,722 sq ft) for 400k could be tight. Even more so on a hillside.
Aerial image of the area with the property boundaries marked?
Where is the road?
Where is the garage supposed to be located?

The plans are not ready to be shared yet – I guess I posted a bit too early.

A pantry only makes sense if you do a lot of home harvesting and canning. For store-bought canned goods, the local supermarket is a much better option than storage space.

A site plan should be included with the purchase. You can then mark the direction of the slope. Next, an aerial photo of the surrounding area from the internet can be useful. That already helps a lot. You have probably already taken photos of the site as well.

Better early than late.
