Hello,

we are currently planning our single-family house with a mono-pitched roof at a 10-degree slope. The first design includes a zinc roof covering, which we are not really satisfied with.

What type of roofing have you chosen for a similar roof pitch? We are currently leaning towards flat roof tiles combined with a waterproof substructure. Which tiles would you recommend for this?

We would greatly appreciate any shared experiences.

We have an 18-degree pitch on the single-sloped roof, covered with tiles. Visually, that is quite steep.

Thank you very much for your input. Green roofing might be an option, but primarily we are looking for a solution using bricks. Today, I contacted several roofers again to see if they could find a possibility.

With a low roof pitch using tiles, a waterproof underlay is definitely needed. The tiles then serve more as a decorative element...

We also have a shed roof with a 10-degree pitch. We use tiles from Creaton with an underlay membrane and nail-sealing tape. There is a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty. Erlus should also still be an option.

@Kleberson: Great, thank you very much!

Has anyone had experience with the Braas 7Grad roof?

I’m interested in that as well. Maybe some of you have installed it by now.
