Hi everyone,
I would also like to fine-tune the settings of my heat pump. Here are the current settings:

The hot water is set to 47°C (117°F) with circulation running 3 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. Circulation pump is on for 5 minutes, off for 55 minutes.
Specific questions:
- We repeatedly get error 724 (defrost temperature difference >15K). The technician suggested increasing the secondary circuit flow, saying the energy in the heating circuit is currently not sufficient for defrosting. That sounds illogical to me. What else could be causing this error?
- The flow in the bathroom is relatively low, and naturally, there is also the least piping area installed there per square meter. How can I increase the flow in that area?
All actuators are fully open. The heating system is in the basement, and the problematic bathroom is on the top floor, on the last circuit at the manifold.
I would appreciate any tips.

Daniel-Sp15 Oct 2020 13:47- We repeatedly encounter error 724 (temperature difference defrost >15K).
This often indicates an overall insufficient flow rate.

What kind of house? The heat pump is a CTA LWA12 with HDT9.
The flow rate is just under 2,000 L/h (8.8 gallons per hour).
The house has a total of 309 m² (3,327 ft²), of which about 230 m² (2,476 ft²) is heated living area, another 25 m² (269 ft²) is unheated living space, and the rest is unheated utility space (outside the insulated building envelope but still directly integrated in the basement, including garage and workshop).
Basement:
Office – 227 m (132 + 95 m) (745 ft (433 + 312 ft)) – 21.3 m² (229 ft²) – 1.8 L/min, 1.9 L/min (0.5, 0.5 gallons per minute)
Hallway – 92 m (302 ft) – 11.6 m² (125 ft²) – 1.9 L/min (0.5 gpm)
Bathroom – 60 m (197 ft) – 4.8 m² (52 ft²) – 0.5 L/min (0.13 gpm) (not fully open)
Laundry – 120 m (70 + 50 m) (394 ft (230 + 164 ft)) – 9.5 m² (102 ft²) – 0.9 L/min, 1.0 L/min (0.24, 0.26 gpm) (not fully open)
Technical room – no underfloor heating – 9.9 m² (107 ft²)
Workshop – no underfloor heating – 10.8 m² (116 ft²)
Storage – no underfloor heating – 8.5 m² (91 ft²)
Ground floor:
Living – 205 m (103 + 102 m) (673 ft (338 + 335 ft)) – 21.5 m² (231 ft²) – 1.9 L/min, 1.8 L/min (0.5, 0.5 gpm)
Kitchen/Dining – 232 m (82 + 95 + 55 m) (761 ft (269 + 312 + 180 ft)) – 36.5 m² (393 ft²) – 2.0 L/min, 1.6 L/min, 2.3 L/min (0.53, 0.42, 0.61 gpm)

Upper floor:
Child's room North – 187 m (102 + 85 m) (614 ft (335 + 279 ft)) – 16.8 m² (181 ft²) – 1.2 L/min, 0.7 L/min (not fully open) (0.32, 0.18 gpm)
Hallway – 41 m (135 ft) – 7.9 m² (85 ft²) – 1.0 L/min (not fully open) (0.26 gpm)
