Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your advice. I have the opportunity to move into a small house, but almost everything inside needs to be renovated. Here is a brief summary:

- Remove one wall
- Remove existing floor coverings (laminate and tiles) and install new flooring (laminate)
- Partially replaster walls and apply new wallpaper throughout
- Install a new front door
- Install new windows
- Install a new patio door

The living area is approximately 50 m² (540 sq ft).

Is it possible to get a rough cost estimate for this? I plan to hire a company for the work.

Thank you and best regards

.. create a bill of quantities and then request quotes from several companies ...

So...

Removing a wall............................................... 1,000 EUR
Removing old flooring and installing new................ 5,000 EUR
Partial replastering of walls including wallpaper....... 5,000 EUR
New front door............................................... 3,000 EUR
New windows.................................................. 3,000 EUR

Well, when will it start? As soon as possible—the rental apartment has already been terminated. I originally wanted to look for a new one, but I actually prefer the small house in a quiet location. So if your cost estimate is roughly accurate and I take on a few tasks myself (removing old wallpaper and floor coverings), it should work out. Are your figures including materials? I set a budget of max. 25,000 (currency) which would roughly equal the cost of renting for 4-5 years. I wasn’t sure if that’s realistic... I will get some quotes. Thanks to all of you.
