Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum and recently bought a single-family house.
It includes a conservatory, but unfortunately without an awning.
Now I would like to install a used awning, but I’m not sure if it will fit.
Normally, I’m confident I can manage most things, but this is a bit unfamiliar to me.
My conservatory is 6 m (20 feet) wide and 4 m (13 feet) deep.
The used awning is exactly the size I need, BUT unfortunately, the corners of my conservatory are angled. See photos. This means the outer supports would be hanging 2 m (6.5 feet) in the air.
Would that work or is it not possible at all?
P.S. The photo with the white house shows the used awning.

Best regards,
Marcell

That is definitely doable. However, I don’t see how you plan to install that on your roof in a way that will still be watertight afterwards. Is the glazing on the roof glass or plastic? Are the strips in between aluminum? I would recommend consulting a professional.

That is glass. Between them are aluminum profiles. Yes, that’s what I almost expected.
