Hello,
we are currently converting a utility room and I now need to start planning the bathroom on the first floor, but I have no clue where to begin.
We are still quite flexible with the plumbing connections.

I would like to include a toilet, washbasin, shower, washing machine, dryer, and possibly a urinal in the toilet area.
Since the apartment doesn’t have a guest toilet, I was thinking about making it somewhat separate.

Unfortunately, I am completely out of ideas...

I hope someone here can help me a bit and together we can find a suitable solution.

The room looks like this:

Floor plan of an interior space with thick walls, door and window positions, area 14.8 m² (160 sq ft).

Something like this is the planning from a bathroom designer:

Floor plan of an interior layout with walls, doors, furniture, dimension markings and labels A–E.

Thanks

I will be at the construction site later, so I will just take the measurements then.

Hi,
the windows have a sill height of approximately 85cm (33 inches). The small window is fixed in size, but the larger one could still be changed without much effort.

Best regards

…I would probably do it something like this, so that a sink can also be available for visitors… I don’t know what to do with a urinal, and it’s not included in the plan anyway. There would probably still be enough space.

Floor plan: Room 1 with bathtub, double sink, and toilet; Room 2 with two beds.

3D view: Person standing on a circular platform with arrows, shower and double sink in the bathroom.

Suggestion:

Floor plan of a room with bed, wardrobes, oval mirror on the right wall, and yellow objects.

or like this:

Top-down floor plan: oval bathtub on the right, washing machine/dryer on the left, yellow shelves.

Of course, this can also be done with the large original window. However, I would recommend making them the same size.

I would not plan without a bathtub.

Hello, thanks for your suggestions.

A bathtub is definitely not needed. We never had one and never missed it.
During my bachelor’s thesis, I had one in the apartment where I lived, used it once, and got bored after 10 minutes anyway^^
