ᐅ Bathroom accessible from two sides – What type of locking system?

Hello everyone. So far, I’ve been an active reader and today I’m posting my first message:
In our floor plans, we have planned a bathroom on the ground floor that can be accessed both from the inside and from the terrace.
The reason is that we want to build a pool in the garden and need an option to use the restroom or the shower without dripping water through the house.
What we are wondering is whether it’s possible to have both locks engage simultaneously when closing one door. Even better would be if the lock could be set so that the door naturally remains locked from the outside when I enter the bathroom from inside and also when I leave it, so that at night there isn’t an easy access point for unwanted guests.
I hope it’s clear what I mean. It’s a bit complicated to explain.

... this will probably only be solvable with "smart" locks, meaning motorized ones. And then some kind of "two-way switching"But you don’t happen to have a concrete idea or a manufacturer for that, do you?JerryP84 schrieb:
But you don’t happen to have a specific idea or a manufacturer for that, do you?At this stage, with this floor plan, that’s not necessary. However, budget around €5,000 (about $5,400) for the door and lock/system.

But already budget around €5,000 (about $5,400) for the door and lock/system. I am fully aware that the plan is far from finalized. My concern is about the feasibility and practicality. If someone here could say, sure, buy product Z from XY, it costs €50 (about $54), then I would continue developing the idea. If only prices above €5,000 (about $5,400) are assumed, I would discard the idea and consider something else. I just thought this forum called "Idea Generation" is meant for finding ideas.

But it’s really just a rough brainstorming draft... Then I’m probably still in time to give you a cautionary example where someone else had the same brilliant bathroom idea: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/einliegerwohnung-fuer-eltern-210-m-efh-und-80-m-elw.24218/

So, if it were my bathroom and I had such a "crazy" idea, I would install motorized locks and set up a small smart home system based on OpenHAB. But I don’t have those kinds of ideas 😉 . Not that my ideas are necessarily better; the bad ones usually get talked out of me in time. The extra cost for a motorized lock on an exterior door is at least 500€ (about 540 USD), what about for an interior door? You can build the smart home yourself with plenty of time for research and implementation, starting at around 500€ (about 540 USD) (additional cables, Controllino Max, etc. or similar).
