Good day,
I am having trouble adjusting my roller shutters, which are connected via a bus system. Both shutters are controlled by a single actuator. I’m still not quite sure why the shutters behave the way they do. One operates fairly well.
I wanted to adjust the other one and looked online for how to set the end stops. I haven’t mounted the second shutter yet. Strangely, I can move the motor downwards, and it stops simultaneously with the shutter that is already working properly. Why is that? Is it because of the actuator? However, I can press the down button several times, and each time the shutter moves further down. Shouldn’t it stop eventually when it reaches the end position? Or could it be that the actuator repeatedly interrupts and restores the power when the button is pressed?
What exactly do you adjust with those set screws on the roller shutter? Is it just a ratio between the start and end positions, or do you set some kind of absolute position? But that seems unlikely.
Maybe it would help me to understand better if I knew technically what is being adjusted with those set screws.
Phew, I hope someone can help me 🙂
Regards,
Marian
