Bertram10012 Nov 2023 22:53I had underfloor heating installed later in the screed on the upper floor, which has a controller up there (or whatever that thing is called where the pipes are connected in a row and there is another row on top with extra indicators).
What do I need to do to turn on the underfloor heating on the upper floor? The indicator tubes are set all the way at the top, showing zero flow.
Could someone possibly help from a distance? Thanks in advance!

upstairs has a controller (or what is the name of the thing where the pipes are connected in a row and above there is another row with additional indicators). Heating circuit manifold with flow meters.
If all the valves there are fully open and no flow is present, the circuit at the bottom or directly behind the heater still needs to be opened.
However, the installation of the underfloor heating normally also includes pressure testing, filling, and commissioning. Has nobody done that?

Heating circuit manifold with flow meters. Thanks 🙂Well, everything was installed three years ago and it worked fine back then. But since then, I haven’t turned on the heating upstairs. Now I’m not sure how to turn it back on.
I’ll check if the main line is still closed. Thanks for the tip.

Now I can only tell from the indicators that there is no flow anywhere. But how I can turn anything if the "knobs" are only decorative, I don’t know either.

Just two or three sentences of text don’t really help much ;-)
