I had underfloor heating installed later in the screed on the upper floor, which has a controller up there (or whatever that thing is called where the pipes are connected in a row and there is another row on top with extra indicators).
What do I need to do to turn on the underfloor heating on the upper floor? The indicator tubes are set all the way at the top, showing zero flow.
Could someone possibly help from a distance? Thanks in advance!

Which of the two valves was it?
If the heating technician refills it, please make sure to use the correct water.

Bertram10016 Nov 2023 08:33Yes, you always know better afterward. It was the cold water valve. The water was pumped through the pipe and thus through the heating system. Only there was no actual heater, so everything just leaked from the pipe in the wall onto the floor instead of going through the heating system. Well, I made a mistake there.

Bertram10016 Nov 2023 13:26The installer from the company responsible for all the installations came by. He refilled the water (it was very simple; everything is already connected to a valve and just needs to be opened), showed me how to control the underfloor heating, and reset everything. The whole process took only about 10 minutes, and hopefully everything is working fine now.
As a precaution, I didn’t shower for two days because I wasn’t sure if using hot water was a good idea while the heat pump wasn’t working properly. Now I can shower again. 😀

No one has ever died from heat, but some have frozen to death.
