ᐅ Absolutely unhappy with the new paving, it doesn’t fit well – looking for advice

We started laying new paving at our 20-year-old house. I chose a gray mix made of concrete. Now part of it is installed, and it looks quite awful—probably also because the paving at the neighboring houses is already dull gray.
I actually like the paving, but right now it appears bright gray-blue. It just doesn’t fit at all—well, it’s not finished yet. The stairs will still get a stainless steel railing. But now, it might still be possible to change the choice. I didn’t want beige or red originally.
This paving will probably also become grayer and lighter over time, right?

No gray, no blue, no beige, no red. You’re basically asking the forum which paving you might like. Unfortunately, no one can make that decision for you.
I find the paving very attractive. It’s almost finished, so give the new look a chance—it will turn out fine.

I’m afraid you’re right. Sometimes you just need someone to put it so clearly for you ;-)

I think it’s great. Green welded wire fencing, standard concrete paving, RAL 7016 – it’s nice to see something different instead of the usual uniform look. Embrace some variety!

I wasn’t referring to you! 🙂 But as @Allthewayup said, give the unconventional installation pattern a chance.
