Hello everyone,

we need to make a decision regarding the slope in the garage. There are two options:
1. Slope outward toward the garage door.
2. Slope toward the center of the garage with a drain (possibly including an oil separator 😉 )

How did you do it? Which option is better? Do you have any alternative suggestions?

Thank you all 🙂

I chose option 1 back then.

No slope at all.
On the three times a year when you drive into the garage with slushy snow, you just go through later with a shovel.

That’s how it’s done here as well.
Besides, with such small amounts of water, there is no real flow movement.
It doesn’t really matter whether the puddle is right under the tire or spread out over 30cm (12 inches) on the ground.

Yes, a slope won’t help you much. Water only drains off with a very steep slope, and nobody wants that. Implement option 1.

We also don’t have any slope. Until now, I didn’t even know if that could make sense 🙄
