ᐅ Assessment of an Offer for Windows and Exterior Venetian Blinds

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding a window quote and would like to get your opinion.

The quote includes windows and roller shutters with Somfy Start motors rated at 6 Nm. Is this price reasonable?

Additionally, there are 4 basement windows, 2 skylights, and the windows of the loggia included in the price.
Is the Somfy motor strong enough for these blinds, or would it be better to invest in more powerful motors?

Oh, and one more thing I forgot to mention. The windows have anthracite frames both inside and outside, and are Schüco Living MD82 Living with triple glazing.

I’m definitely not a window expert, but we’re getting a mix of manual and electric roller shutters and are already paying about the same as you are for your Venetian blinds.
So, it doesn’t seem expensive to me on your end.

Our window prices are comparable to yours.

Why don’t you choose Gealan if you want color on both sides, which with other manufacturers would have to be done with foil?

The offer "ang1" is outrageously unreasonable. Typos aside, at fifty-four thousand (!) and regardless of the conditions (the twelve-day validity period is just ridiculous!), the lots "all elements" and "all blinds" each being combined items is, to put it mildly, unprofessional – and I don’t even want to speculate on the quality of the installation :-(

It also seems expensive to me. They are calculating with 0% VAT—does this mean it is assumed to be export goods? Consider warranty and guarantee issues when dealing with foreign suppliers. Even we still have problems with improperly installed windows. Almost all of them need rework ;-( We are still assuming it will work out. But if the supplier is located far abroad, they are unlikely to pay for a van and two workers for a whole day for just 2-3 hours of work.

Attached is our current external venetian blind offer (as ordered, but with different (price-equivalent) slats).

We have many repeating items, which is why the offer looks so straightforward.

By the way, the offer mentioned above includes Warema venetian blinds.
