Paul-Baut14 Jun 2020 13:29Hi,
is there something like a sample building project for future homeowners?
I mean just a very basic outline, for example, the ideal sequence in which the different trade work should be carried out.
This would help to get an overview of how things should generally proceed. Nothing detailed and definitely not a 500-page book to become a professional developer. Just something simple to get a basic idea of what it’s about.
Like, for example, first pouring the foundation slab and then installing the drainage pipes underneath,
or plastering the walls first and then doing the electrical installation.
I know there are professionals for this, but I believe it doesn’t hurt to have at least a little understanding yourself.

You feel like the 1,234th person to ask about this topic. Since "drainage" mainly leads to water-related subjects, the search term "procedure" will give you more relevant results.

[The house is over 100 years old; is it possible to sell any historic building materials?]
2. Leveling and filling the construction site.
[The site is slightly below street level and should be raised by a few centimeters (inches) to prevent water ingress in case of heavy rain.]
3. Installation of utility connections: water, electricity, telephone, sewage.
4. Construction of the ground floor slab with insulation.
5. Building the ground floor walls.
6. Installing electrical conduits in the ceiling of the ground floor and pouring the ground floor ceiling slab.
7. Building the first upper floor (OG1) walls.
8. Installing electrical conduits in the ceiling of the first upper floor and pouring the first upper floor ceiling slab.
9. Building the second upper floor (OG2) walls.
10. Constructing the roof frame.
11. Insulating and roofing the roof.
12. Then comes a winter break. Should the windows already be installed before this, or is that not necessary yet? How does this affect keeping the structure dry?
13. Installing windows and doors.
14. Installing electrical wiring: conduits on the floor, chasing walls for cables.
15. Installing plumbing: pipes on the floor, chasing walls for pipes.
16. Installing heating system: pipes on the floor, chasing walls for pipes.
17. Plastering the walls, inside and outside.
18. Installing the floors.
19. Painting the walls.
20. And just like that, the house is finished.
Have I missed anything or is the order generally correct?

Screed, interior doors... first walls, then floor.
Do you want that in general? I mean: for our foundation, there was more excavation than filling... The construction site didn’t see winter either.
You are very individual with your points.
Therefore, we can’t give you personalized advice on that.
