Hi,
is there something like a sample building project for future homeowners?
I mean just a very basic outline, for example, the ideal sequence in which the different trade work should be carried out.
This would help to get an overview of how things should generally proceed. Nothing detailed and definitely not a 500-page book to become a professional developer. Just something simple to get a basic idea of what it’s about.
Like, for example, first pouring the foundation slab and then installing the drainage pipes underneath,
or plastering the walls first and then doing the electrical installation.
I know there are professionals for this, but I believe it doesn’t hurt to have at least a little understanding yourself.

1. Demolition of the old building by a demolition company. Nice that you mention this on the side. This is exactly where the process becomes atypical, since the vast majority of first-time self-builders can then describe the procedures for new builds on virgin land. Renovations or projects starting with demolition are more often cases for experienced builders and/or DIY enthusiasts.

[The house is over 100 years old, is it possible to sell historic building materials?] It is possible, but that’s a topic on its own.
What is the background of your list anyway? Are you planning or intending to carry out a large part of the trades yourself, and are you the type of person who thinks "anyone can do a bit of architecture"?

Osnabruecker16 Jun 2020 19:09The connections are usually installed only once there is a lockable utility room.
It is better to extend the exterior walls on the second upper floor (OG2) up to the roof structure.
Don’t forget all the applications: construction water, construction electricity, permits (building permit / planning permission), telecommunications, municipal utilities, and so on.

pagoni202016 Jun 2020 19:09@Paul-Baut I believe an architect, to whom you will have to present the project anyway, will clearly explain the necessary steps and their order. The "zack" part will come later on...
