How do you evaluate this construction method? Vapor barriers are intentionally omitted. Who is responsible for this?koreabomb schrieb:
.....Thanks for your opinions! One option among many! Summer thermal insulation as well as soundproofing (internal, external) could turn out to be problematic. For a "lightweight construction" (Primary energy demand 55) of this design, special considerations for the building services need to be taken into account!Best regards

Thanks in advance for the advice regarding waterproofing and vapor barriers. I will discuss this with the company.
Are there any specific considerations when it comes to the building services?

The construction company said that no membranes are needed in the build. As a contracting party, they obviously have to be sustainably liable for this statement! ;-) Do the contract terms actually allow for this? koreabomb schrieb:
....Thanks in advance for the hints regarding insulation (thermal and sound). Lightweight construction usually offers little room for sound insulation (internal, external)! Anyone planning a parent bedroom adjacent to a child’s room should consider this carefully, depending on their preferences ;-). koreabomb schrieb:
...What special features are there regarding the building services? The low heat storage capacity of the building structure (lightweight construction) requires greater flexibility (modulation capability) in heat generation (heating operation). Best regards.
