Hello everyone,

we are looking for an interior sliding door where you can also hang something on the wall next to it afterward. So far, I have only heard of solutions where you can paint or apply wallpaper, but you cannot hang a picture or cabinet on them.

We need dimensions of 230cm (90.5 inches) wide and 240cm (94.5 inches) high.

I found three manufacturers that offer such frames:
- L'invisible
- Eclisse
- Scrigno (apparently not available in Germany)

With the Eclisse Ewoluto® System EF, loads up to 360kg (794 lbs) can be supported, but the maximum width seems insufficient. What also puts us off a bit is that no prices are available. I think L'invisible will be very expensive, so Eclisse might be our only option.

Do you have any recommendations for alternatives? We understand that a sliding door doesn’t offer the best sound insulation, but it would be good if there is at least some noise reduction. If necessary, we will upgrade this later.

As mentioned, we are primarily interested in alternatives for a sliding door that is at least 230cm (90.5 inches) wide and 240cm (94.5 inches) high and where the wall next to it can still be used afterward.

Good luck, CK

That's clever, I also need such an element, but with a height of 2700mm (106 inches) and a width of 2400mm (94 inches). The Eclisse looks good.

Take a look at Eclisse’s telescopic system, which goes up to a maximum width of 4940 mm (194 inches) with a height of 2610 mm (103 inches). That could be an alternative for us as well, but I can’t find any information on whether something can be attached to it, and especially how much it costs.
