Hello,

does anyone have an idea how to extend the canopy of a precast concrete garage?
The garage is 9.00 meters (29.5 feet) long and 3.48 meters (11.4 feet) wide.
The garage already has a canopy that is 0.50 meters (20 inches) long.

It would be desirable to extend the canopy from 0.50 meters (20 inches) to 1.50 meters (59 inches).

Is there a building permit / planning permission for this?

For the garage or the roof?
My main concern right now is whether it is feasible.

You can build anything. The first question is: Is it allowed? Who will carry out the work, and how?

Where does it state if it is allowed?
A garage may be built. Is a canopy included in the maximum 9 m (30 feet) allowed per boundary?
The question is, how can it be constructed? What options are available?

Why should that be the first question? You don’t even need to answer that if it’s not technically feasible (or affordable).

… sounds like the garage already exists. Or did you mean "ordering a garage that doesn’t exist yet with an even larger overhanging canopy"? – that would be a completely different matter, because then you wouldn’t have to patch anything, but could plan it that way from the start.
