Hello knowledgeable ones,
During our summer renovation, we noticed that the reddish bricks in our yard are covered with moss and dirt.
So now my question is: how would you approach cleaning them, and especially what tools and, if necessary, chemicals would you recommend? Should any protective treatment be applied afterward?

I assume these are concrete pavers colored red on the surface?
These are the pavers, but they usually have a much more distinct red tone. That’s the color we want to restore ;-)
I think so too. The concrete pavers will only be colored on the top 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) – the color will eventually fade over time.
Moss usually looks a bit different 😎
If you have green growth, spray it with an algae remover and treat/clean it according to the instructions.
I wouldn’t use a pressure washer on these stones, as it can make the surface even more porous than it already is.
How old is the paving?

We are not sure about that. We will probably try it with Algenex. Thank you.
