Hello.
We are looking for a supplier of precast concrete garages as a large single garage with one door.
Has anyone here had such a garage built or installed?
Which supplier did you use? What were the costs?
So far, we have shortlisted two "affordable" companies with quotes around 16,000 euros each. Three other quotes range from 18,000 to 25,000 euros.
We want one door with two remote controls, an electrical package with several sockets, two light fixtures, no door and no window. Everything in white. Roof coating, sectional door, M-rib Woodgrain finish, automatic door opener, and drainage included. Delivery and installation on strip foundations supplied by us.
Looking forward to tips and recommendations...
Have a nice evening...

So far, I only have two "affordable" offers. Rekers for €16,000 and Dahmit also around €16,000. However, both are only about 4.94 m (16.2 ft) and 5 m (16.4 ft) wide for the driveway, even though they are 6 m (19.7 ft) wide overall. A bit narrow, isn’t it? Zapf offers one for €19,000 with a 5.5 m (18 ft) driveway width, but it doesn’t include an electrical package. (I haven’t asked yet, but that will probably add another €1,000–2,000.)

Although 6 meters (20 feet) wide, the clear passage width is only 4.94 m (16 feet 2 inches) or 5 m (16 feet 5 inches).
A bit narrow, isn’t it? It depends. Our simple gate has a clear passage width of 2.46 m (8 feet 1 inch). That’s significantly wider than my widest vehicle, so it should work.
Also, pay attention to the clear height of the passage, which in my opinion is more critical than the width!

The current VW T6 van has a height of 1.95 m (6 ft 5 in) in its base version, while a Mercedes V-Class has a height of 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in).
With all-wheel drive or even just a roof rack, that can already get quite tight...
