I never planned to build a house, but now I find myself completely involved without any prior knowledge. I want to convert the attic space for my daughter. Since I’m not very creative myself, I’m asking here if anyone might have some unique ideas for furnishing a teenager’s room. She is 15 and definitely wants a room that is very different from her friends’ rooms.
I appreciate any tips!

Yes, I would also recommend using as many accessories as possible! They always make a room feel special, even if, for example, you have the same bed as a friend!

tfmStudentin25 Oct 2008 15:54It depends on your daughter’s taste. For example, if she has a specific favorite band, you could wallpaper the walls with posters of them. This also works with pictures of her and her friends, or something similar. Alternatively, you could paint her room in a very bold color. These kinds of things make a room unique.
