Hello everyone,

I never planned to build a house, but now I find myself completely involved without any prior knowledge. I want to convert the attic space for my daughter. Since I’m not very creative myself, I’m asking here if anyone might have some unique ideas for furnishing a teenager’s room. She is 15 and definitely wants a room that is very different from her friends’ rooms.

I appreciate any tips!

I once saw something really clever at a friend’s place – plaster hands, cast by themselves, attached to the wall and painted so that they look like they are reaching out of the wall. You can hang jewelry and similar items on them.

Hello!
Yes, I would also recommend using as many accessories as possible! They always make a room feel special, even if, for example, you have the same bed as a friend!

It depends on your daughter’s taste. For example, if she has a specific favorite band, you could wallpaper the walls with posters of them. This also works with pictures of her and her friends, or something similar. Alternatively, you could paint her room in a very bold color. These kinds of things make a room unique.
