Hello everyone,

We are currently looking for a wood-burning stove for our KFW70 house with a central ventilation system featuring heat recovery. We have already visited several dealers and have a clear idea of what we want. Unfortunately, there are so many manufacturers that we’re not sure which one to choose. Here are the key requirements:
Wood-burning stove with a round design and a large, round viewing window
Integrated heat storage
Room-air independent, the room is 40 m² (430 sq ft)
DIBt approval is not absolutely necessary, as our ventilation system is equipped accordingly
So far, we have looked at models from Sparther*, Sca*, Justu*, and others.
Do you have any recommendations? Our budget is limited, with a maximum of around 3000€ (about $3300), but cheaper is preferable.

We have chosen the Olsberg Palena Compact. It basically matches your description. There is also a version called Powerbloc, in case storage capacity is important...

Haha, I was just about to mention that one too. Ours cost around 2700, with installation and piping about 3500. It's hard to find a cheaper option.

It's also on my list; I just need to see it in person first. It's already a sign that you have the same one.

We don’t have it yet. However, we are planning to buy it. The house is not completely finished yet...

We "pre-ordered" it back in February so we could calculate the cost. Additionally, both the construction company and the chimney sweep needed the documents.
It is scheduled to be installed in December... it is also available in the color mocha.
