TubifexIs there an alternative to windows with attached roller shutter boxes? I am about to replace a window, and what bothers me about windows with attached roller shutter boxes is that the shutter boxes take up a lot of light and space.
Is it possible to completely do without roller shutters and use triple glazing along with, for example, internal venetian blinds or blinds?

Yesterday, I visited a window manufacturer who recommended a complete system with windows that have factory-installed roller shutters. Not bad, but since the windows in older buildings are not very large, there is the usual BUT. Such a roller shutter box takes up about 15cm (6 inches) or more and reduces the window area.
Has anyone had experience with this and can share their insights?
