Hello,

we want to buy a small hot tub for the garden. Not from China or overseas, we have chosen Wellis, which manufactures in Hungary. The size will be 2 by 2 meters (6.5 by 6.5 feet), or possibly a model a few centimeters (inches) larger.

Now we are wondering if an integrated Bluetooth sound system is really necessary. It costs about 950 € extra. During the very good consultation, we forgot to ask about it, but it was added as an extra cost in the offer.

Who owns a smaller hot tub with a sound system and actually uses it? Or is it a "nice to have" feature that just ends up unused?

Is it an underwater sound system or a regular one?

Good question.

Does it make a difference?

I think I saw that the speakers were above the water.

Underwater systems are easily heard by someone inside, but much quieter from the outside.

I have equipped wellness areas for a long time. My personal view: You don’t recover faster or better by adding more simultaneous external stimuli. In a hot tub, you have the warmth of the water, the effect of the jets, and in winter outdoors, a wonderful climate stimulus, with snowflakes dancing against the night sky and pleasant warmth from below. I wouldn’t add any sound to that. A hot tub is not exactly quiet anyway. Ideally, you should be able to feel inward at places of relaxation. In my experience, the more stressed and success-driven the people were, the more effects they wanted to layer on. I consider that counterproductive, but of course, everyone has to decide for themselves.

Best regards

Hello

we have purchased it. The system could not be removed because it is manufactured as standard. Well, maybe the seller talked it up. It wasn't possible without it, but the price was still acceptable.

Enjoy it! It’s a part of quality of life. We really appreciate it (always without music), sometimes sitting in it in the morning before breakfast to watch deer, in the evening to look at the stars, or to relax after a hard day's work.
