ᐅ Which prefabricated house company offers the selection of finishes and materials before purchase?

Hello,

I am new here and ask for your understanding if my question seems basic. I have already tried to find an answer in your previous posts but was not successful.

Now to my question:
Apparently, there are prefab house companies that offer the selection of finishes BEFORE signing the purchase contract. Does anyone here know of such a company? This would be a good reason for me to choose that prefab house company, as it would help me better estimate the costs for the new house.

Thanks in advance for your time and best regards, Pinkiponk

If you want proper work, you have to pay properly. I also have to do my job well and with commitment.
This attitude means that you pay well for good work. You don’t go to the cheapest or those who are willing to be bargained down excessively.

And I don’t understand why so much still goes wrong in house (and apartment) construction, considering how long humanity has been building houses.
The quality doesn’t suffer because it can’t be done. It mainly suffers when the relationship between client and contractor is troubled. The most common causes are power struggles, know-it-all attitudes, greed and stinginess, unclear communication, poor handling of mistakes, lack of trust, and need for excessive control.

And do you allow your company’s clients to inspect you? Or do your company’s clients carry out inspections?

That is called an audit. Depending on the size of the client, it can lead to tricky situations. On a construction site, this would be a dream—simply measuring dimensional accuracy and documenting deviations. And just like that, you lose the certification and are no longer allowed to build.

Uh, no, not by the client. The owner’s rights still apply. For example, my work is audited every year... but that doesn’t have anything to do with the discussion here.

... and time pressure!

@ypg ... you are mistaken there, there are certain business sectors where supplier audits, meaning an audit conducted by the customer, are an essential part of the process. Otherwise, delivery is simply not permitted. I’m just mentioning pharmaceuticals, automotive, and so on.

However, this is less related to the discussion and the example I want to give to the original poster, who imagines simply dropping into the manufacturing process unannounced...
And she herself, as an employee, is expecting a visit from her customer.
