I see on the Austria page that the option to install a range hood is now apparently offered in standard upper cabinets in the planner. Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a range hood into an 80cm (31.5 inch) cabinet? The condition is: it should be a perfect fit! That would really help me, because otherwise I would have to buy the terribly inadequate 20cm (7.9 inch) upper cabinet to fill the gap.

Hello,
this is possible regardless of Faktum or METOD if there is a range hood designed to fit into 80cm (31.5 inches) wide upper cabinets. IKEA offers the Underverk for 80cm (31.5 inches). Whether other manufacturers offer this width, you will need to research.

No, I want to install a 60cm (24 inch) double-hung window asymmetrically.

This is only possible with a lot of tinkering, or what might work is placing a 60cm (24 inches) and a 20cm (8 inches) wall cabinet side by side and using two 40cm (16 inches) doors.

Great idea. Thanks! For me, a standard 20cm (8 inches) is almost pointless. But it works with two 40cm (16 inches) doors.
