Hello everyone,

Question:
In our new build, we have three drains in different corners of the house. Two go up to the upper floor and one to the guest toilet on the ground floor.
Obviously, the pipes converge under the foundation slab, but I wonder how the ventilation should be done here.
Do I need to extend all three soil stacks up to the roof later for venting?

That would be the normal case, yes.

However, there are also solutions for indoor use, search for pipe ventilators. In my opinion, it’s not the optimal solution though.

Hello

You only have 2 riser pipes to the upper floor. Are both for a toilet?
Whether ventilation is necessary for the guest toilet on the ground floor depends on the pipe layout.

Hello,
No, one for the bathtub, one for the shower and toilet.
And on the ground floor, kitchen and guest toilet are connected to the same line.
