Hello,
I am currently planning an IKEA kitchen. I have planned a tall cabinet for a microwave (but I will use my own microwave) and an oven (at 220 cm (87 inches) tall). Now I am wondering, why shouldn't I choose a tall cabinet that is 240 cm (94 inches) high? Is a tall cabinet of that height practical?

KROKTORP would also be a poor choice if you plan to add an upper cabinet or change the cabinet layout later. It’s better to wait for Hittarp if you definitely want the Swedish slatted design.

Ok, thanks for the info. Then I will definitely wait for Hittarp.... When will this front be available?
So it seems that Ikea is discontinuing quite a few kitchen items. Two weeks ago, I bought the Kulinarisk oven for 499 instead of 699 at the Ikea store in Köln Godorf.
I think the inner drawers look quite nice visually...!! The front appears much calmer because of that...
