Hello everyone,
My heat pump (BLW Neo) is controlled only by a buffer tank sensor installed at the bottom. When the return temperature setpoint is reached, it switches off. After a short time, the return temperature naturally drops again, and the heat pump receives a new start signal (due to hysteresis).
Having two temperature sensors, one at the bottom and one at the top of the buffer tank, would be advantageous for control. Unfortunately, BLW does not offer this option… which means cycling is unavoidable.
Does anyone know of a setup where you can automatically switch between two temperature sensors (bottom/top)? For example, when the heat pump is running, the lower sensor is used, and when it is off, the upper sensor is used.
Or do you have to create something custom for this?

Do you mean a series buffer tank in the return line when you talk about serial? That would require me to have the entire hydraulics system adjusted. Also, I have two heating circuits (underfloor heating and a small heating circuit for 3 radiators). Is a series buffer tank even feasible in this case?
