Dear community,
We are choosing between four plots of land that we could buy from a private seller. Specifically, these are the four plots numbered in the development plan.

Plots 1 and 2 are approximately 500 m² (5,380 sq ft) in size. Plot 3 is somewhat smaller. Plot 4 is around 400 m² (4,300 sq ft).
The development plan requires a driveway width of at least 5 m (16.5 ft).
We are planning to build a single-family house of about 150–180 m² (1,615–1,940 sq ft) with a garage.
Which of the plots would you recommend and why?

But you are contradicting yourself! What exactly is important to you about the location? I didn’t express myself clearly. The commute time is only relevant to us in that it is the main factor determining the price per square meter.

Finding out about a plot so close to your in-laws only once it’s already on the market should make you think twice – then the latecomer surcharge is well deserved. The early bird catches the building plot. I’ll be sure to pass that on to my in-laws when I get the chance. :p I personally come from a completely different area and have zero connections here.

If you want the grandchildren nearby, the sons- or daughters-in-law need to listen carefully. If you’re not listening carefully, you won’t hear the grass grow.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

A neighboring village can also be reached quickly for childcare, etc., but might be cheaper or have an infrastructure that justifies such square meter prices. When I was a kid, my great-grandparents lived on the same (small rural) street, so I could and was allowed to go there alone. To reach a neighboring village, you would already need accompaniment. But the fact remains that this extra convenience does not justify inflated prices.
