Hello everyone,
our house construction will start soon, and now we need to choose a facing brick. We have already looked at several options, but none have really convinced us so far.
I have attached a picture to this post of a facing brick that we really like, but so far we haven’t been able to find out what type of brick it might be.
Do you have any ideas which brick and manufacturer it could be?
I would appreciate any feedback.

Auto"correction"I have been trying for a long time to understand the meaning. I think "joint color" fits quite well. 🙂

Possibly Mira from vandersandenDoesn’t look like it to me. They are all “through-colored.” I don’t think this is standard stock. The different colors are not consistent throughout each brick; every brick has multiple colors. This is quite expensive, so you won’t find it like this in the catalog. It’s a niche product. I could imagine these are old bricks, maybe firebricks (is that the correct term?).

[...] The different colors are not consistently distributed within a single brick; each brick has multiple colors. Where do you see a contradiction between being fully colored throughout and the color pattern inside a brick being heterogeneous?
And: which brick do you think does not look fully colored throughout – the Vandersanden Mira or the one in the example photo?

Are you referring to clay bricks? No, I mean fired bricks. And the full coloring is visible in comparison.

And the fully colored one, you can really see the difference in comparison. Comparison of what exactly: the example image with the Mira or the stones within the example image compared to each other?
I still haven't understood how you relate the assessment of either full coloration or slip coating to the fact that the stones are mottled/marble-like and not uniform/solid-colored.
