Der-wJust a quick, basic question on this...
Currently, each of my basement rooms has one recessed outlet and one switch installed. As far as I know, there are no recessed junction boxes in the rooms.
I would now like to install additional boxes in the corners of the rooms. These will need to be surface-mounted since I also have to run them along concrete exterior walls, and boxes will need to be attached there as well. How would you suggest connecting to the existing recessed wiring so that I can continue with a surface-mounted installation?
My idea was to put a surface-mounted box onto the existing recessed boxes.
