Hello,
I had a duct with a nominal diameter of 100mm (4 inches) installed from the basement to the garage for satellite/network/Bus systems.
The core drilling in the basement is sealed with a Doyma sealing collar.
What is the best way to seal or manage the area where the cables exit the duct at the garage?
Should I seal the duct afterward as a precaution against water and because of the exhaust air from the controlled residential ventilation system in the basement?
Even though the duct should be sand- and water-tight, should I still only use underground-rated cables inside it?
Thank you in advance!
