kiam1302Hello everyone,
I would like to install the following bathtub in a fully tiled bathroom:

In the manufacturer’s installation manual, there is an illustration mentioning the DIN18523 standard:

What should I apply between the tile and the bathtub?
Is it purely for decoupling/soundproofing, or is it sealing?
I cannot use a traditional bathtub sealing strip, where part of it is embedded in sealant, because the tiles are already installed on the wall.
Thank you very much and best regards

Do you have any suggestions for which product I could use?
A traditional bathtub sealing tape is glued to the end face of the tub, and the other end is embedded in a waterproofing material before the tiles are installed.
In my case, the tiles are already on the wall, which is common for this type of bathtub.

For this, there are self-adhesive butyl sealing tapes available from various manufacturers (usually adhesive on both sides), which are no longer visible after the silicone sealing. The manufacturer basically doesn’t matter.
