Hello,

we have a plot of land in the family where we want to build. Since it is a sloped site, the question about a height survey keeps coming up in conversations with potential home builders.
Because the plot boundaries are already fixed, I could commission the surveyor now.
To ensure comparability, it would be helpful to know which services we actually need here. Does the following list cover everything? Is the height survey included, or is something missing?
  • Official site plan in x? versions
  • Object-related site plan
  • Detailed staking out
  • Position and height check plus building survey
  • Fees

Thank you very much and best regards,
Michael

Is it an older, already existing plot? There should already be a plan for it. Talk to the surveyor.

It is located in a newly developed area that was established in the early 1990s. There has never been a building on the plot.

I have received sewer plans and other related documents from the building authority. A rough plan including the building envelope is also provided, but no elevation plan.

I think there should be one. Is there a government agency for geospatial data where you could call and inquire?

Surveying offices do not provide large-scale elevation plans. Simply visit a surveying company for advice instead of asking in a forum. It might be hard to believe, but this is the daily business of surveyors.

At least up to 1 to 5000 in SH. That is quite useful.
