Hello, after the final inspection during the flooring installation, we noticed that the interior wall of the room is 10cm (4 inches) wider on one side than at the other end of the wall. The total length of the wall is 3.54m (11.6 feet). I believe this is definitely beyond acceptable tolerance. Can someone advise what would be a reasonable compensation in this case?

Thank you very much

Any compensation, if it exists, will be very minimal. The "damage" is so minor that it would only be noticed by chance.
Most likely, the effort to claim any possible compensation will cost many times more than the compensation itself.

The tolerances should be specified in DIN18202.

None.
If you insist on a perfectly square room, have it corrected. If it’s not that important, then no damage has been done. It doesn’t affect the value of the house.

What was given as the reason for the slanted wall?
It could definitely be "normal" if you are renovating a house from 1850.

And the room on the other side of the interior wall is therefore wider. So, two rooms with slanted walls?

You have already accepted the house.
I’m not entirely sure, but the defect should have been reported in a timely manner, especially since the issue apparently isn’t clearly noticeable or disruptive. It only came to light during installation.

Document the complaint in writing and follow the proper procedure. I don’t think you’ll receive more than the additional cost you need to budget for the flooring, which is about €150 (approximately $165) for materials plus an hour of labor.
That is, if the builder agrees.
If they don’t acknowledge it, you won’t get anything, and legal action wouldn’t be proportionate anyway.

It’s frustrating when you want to place something flush in the corner. A 2-meter (6.6 foot) bed ends up about 6cm (2.4 inches) away from the wall. And this affects two rooms.

But after handover? Well …

I’m also not quite sure how this could happen. Was the connection to the exterior wall marked incorrectly, and then the bricklayer just rigidly followed that? It should be noticeable (before plastering!) if the bricks don’t align properly.
