Hello everyone, I’m new here and hope you can help me. We currently have a problem with the living-dining room and the kitchen. These areas should be combined properly to create a cozy and modern space. At the moment, this is unfortunately not the case. Do you possibly have any tips on what could be done and how? I’m not sure if posting pictures and floor plans is allowed here. Are there maybe architects or interior designers who could give us some ideas? We have been thinking about what to do for a long time and are slowly losing motivation. It is our own house, and we are open to all kinds of renovations (as long as it doesn’t exceed our budget) ;-). We thank you all.

Without a working crystal ball, your question can’t be answered 🙂

I assume you want to remove a wall, but first you need to clarify whether it can be taken down.
If not, is it possible to use steel beams installed afterwards? But that will obviously make it more expensive.

How about just some photos?????
We obviously can't replace a structural engineer here 🙂

Hello everyone, I was able to scan the floor plan today. As you can see, you currently enter the living area and immediately stand by the dining table. This will all be improved with an open kitchen design. We are also considering adding a second door (passage) to the living room and placing the dining area there. However, then the front area would be completely empty. !?? 🙄

Haha... can it be bigger? Where is the kitchen?
Next to the living room, that seems to be a load-bearing wall, at least it is drawn thicker than the others... otherwise, I can’t make out much 🙁

I would remove the wall, if it is not load-bearing. Specifically, the one where the dining table is located. The wall that looks like a cross. Or is there a tiled stove there?
